Bio

Sobriquet

Master Balendous, Julius

Appearance

At first glance Julius is a tall attractive Russian man in his late twenties or early thirties. His aristocratic heritage is apparent in his sharp angular features, dark intelligent eyes and lustrous dark hair. Julius is always dressed to kill in stylish versions of current men's fashions, but accentuated with little 19th century flourishes like heavy gold jewelry, walking sticks and elaborate tie pins. When all of this is added together it lends Julius an stylish Old World elegance that many women find appealing.

Behavior

Master Balendous is a very suave man he radiates charm and confidence with his every jesture and word.

When Julius enters a room men notice because he asserts dominace unconciously, his body language speaks volumes about his superiority over aĺl other men, and this is because he is the most powerful man in the room.

When Master Balendous enters a room women notice because he lavishes attention on each and everyone of them. Julius gives every lady in turn the sense that she alone is truly special and that the attention he pays to any and all other women is simply a social nicety.

The core of Julius suavity lies in his absolute sense of his own masculinity and a compelling adoration of womanhood. Unfortunately Julius is congenitally incapable of monogamy and on a doomed quest for feminie perfection. Despite these facts Julius maintains an extensive network of feminine admirers and former lovers turned life long friends.

History

Julius Balendous was born in the Autumn of 1758 in a small palace outside of Kiev to a noble, petite French mother who died in childbirth. Julius' father Ivan Remus Balendous, a Russian nobleman, was away engaging in the Russian invasion of Prussian and was not able to return home until the funeral of his wife and the naming day of his youngest son. Julius' father would never marry again and doted upon his youngest son.

As a child Julius was precocious with a brilliant intellect that quickly outstripped his tutors and his voratious hunger for knowledge was only equalled by his need for feminine attention. Had Julius' father loved the boy less he might have saved his household needless perturbation on all accounts.

The real problems began when Julius entered puberty and his father was forced to send him to boarding schools throughout Europe rather than deal with an embarrassingly long list patrimony accusations. Yet Julious voracious intellect and unswerving self assurance caused his expulsion from one school after another for his questioning of known intellectual truths and the resultant insults his superior intellect heaped upon the heads of academia.

Thus the years passed and Julius found himself in the capital of his mother's country France attending the Sorbonne. Julius was working on advanced theories of the time regarding physics when he was approached by a tall, slender German fellow who pressed him on several points. The two argued long into the night. The fellow invited Julius back to Germany to pay for more research. Julius accepted the offer and left school to work for Claas Drescher at his home on the Rine. It didn't take Julius long to see that things were amiss. He was very surprised to find he was completely under Claas' spell, and followed all of his commands.

Claas kept Julius working, and used his research to advance the reasearch of the Tremere in Germany. Once Claas was able to get permission to embrace Julius, he did so. When Julius had completed his training and apprentice time under Klas, Julius applied to return to France. The Chantry at St Louis happily took him in. When the persecution of the French Tremere came down, Julius transferred to the Meudon Chantry so he could stay in France.

Julius Balendous was originally part of the NonIsis Chantry, and moved into the Saint Louis Chantry after WWII.
