As such, she usually have a Herd of raped, tortured or psychologically deviant mortals, a Herd she sometimes resplenishes by herself...
Cédrique is a masochist, as well as a sadistic woman. While these traits are usually hidden under the power of her will, she sometimes, unconsciously, take decision that puts her at risk, or in situation where she will indulge in her deviant pulsions. For example, Ahmed had seen his mortal lover used as a chalice by Cédrique. All believe it was an unlucky coup, but Cédrique know, even if she won't ever admit it, even to herself. When Ahmed stormed an intimate Soirée to kill her, he had time to punch her senseless before her Kindred friends stopped him. To everyone's surprise, her retaliation was not swift and final: She tortured Ahmed before throwing his broken body in the arms of his crying fiancée. The matter is considered settled, but most Kindred knowing both the Brujah and the Ventrue know each look for the time the other will make the mistake that will start their feud once more. Only Vivien suspects Cédrique knew since the beginning the woman was Ahmed's chosen.
Because of her capacity to hide her cruel instincts, as well as her willpower (which helps her controlling them), she had not been targeted to be corrupted.

- Cédrique was at first a member of Nazi intelligence services, and not a resistant (Nazi is too much, but this term put aside, this is true).
- Cédrique is waiting her time: She prepares something (True: She waits for a ressource to free itself, and she sees Leonard as the perfect victim. As such, she learns about the crime organizations...).
- Cédrique will start soon an influence war to win over some nightclubs in Paris, to prove herself to her Clan which questions her value, as much as to control the buildings where she likes to spend her nights (False, but she is faking this...)
