Secrets: Marius is in possession of some of the most terrifying and horrific secrets in the world of darkness and has been keeping them from everyone; even his own brother Benesj, his sire Svarozic and the Tal'Ma'Reh. Marius has begun feeling the pressure to contain these secrets and is becoming increasingly distracted in trying not to slip up.
With the nearly complete destruction of the mortal inhabitants of Gabrovo, Varva Kale, its newest and only castle severely damaged and the intense scrutiny of the Bulgarian authorities, the fate and control of Gabrovo is now in question.
Marius has been abducted by the Sabbat and the machinations of his sire have been partially revealed to him. The soul and mind of Kamiko Tanaka have been restored to the young woman who accompanied Chivato, bringing about Marius' desperate love for her and marking her impromptu embrace.
During Marius' captivity among the Sabbat of Sarajevo, Sascha Vykos mutilated him by removing his hair and sculpting a breast out of his left pectoral as well as improving his appearance. Marius may have a vinculum towards Sascha Vykos but that certainly won't be a deterrent in his vengeance towards the ancient fiend. Once Marius escaped the captivity of Vykos, he was able to call upon a member of the Tal-Ma-Re to change his appearance via Biothaumaturgical Experimentation to that described above with the exception of the black hand mark upon his chest, compliments of Tri-Glav and Phineus.
Currently: Sascha Vykos was in possession of his talisman untill Marius finally succeeded in learning the incredibly powerful ritual "Utter Destruction of Bonds" whith which he destroyed his connection to his old talisman. With this casting, the old talisman was not just removed from contact with Marius, but resulted in the destruction of the talisman and apparently caused a great deal of concern on the part of the cabal of ancinets in Sarajevo. This resulted in numerous scrying attempts by those individuals, most of which were still successful though nowhere as complete as before. Those ancients of Sarajevo took both blood and body relics of Marius upon his capture but without his talisman in their possesion and Marius's re-casting of enchant talisman, those magics that were directed by those Sabbat ancients are far less potent. Soon, Marius will entreat Yan Syrkov to learn his new ritual wich may enable him to destroy those body relics and blood still in possesion of Vykos and the others.
These events and the startling revelations have transformed Marius into a dark, brooding and rage filled immortal the likes of which have rarely been seen in the world of darkness. The most reasonable comparison for his developing circumstances and mindset would be to Vlad the Impaler.
