Emil na Pes
Title: Primogen
Pet Name: The Mutt
Domain: Sredets is one of the smallest domains in Sofia, measuring little more than 300 hectares of land; its mortal population is only 41,000. But, if you judged Sredets based on size and population, you would be doing yourself a disservice. The district comprises much of the ancient and medieval city; it contains more historical landmarks and places of interest per block than any other district or all of them combined. It is home to the National Assembly, where the Prince and Primogen meet to decide the fate of the city and Sofia University, the most important educational institution in Bulgaria. Many would describe Sredets as the crown jewel of Sofia’s 24 districts; that it now lies in the hands of a Nosferatu scandalizes the more effete clans of the Camarilla.
Elysium: Ivan Vazov National Theater
Appearance: He is a short hunchback, a lopsided creature who seems to have been assembled from mismatched limbs. His personal odor is rank, though he covers it up with cologne. He always wears black, favors expensive clothing and leather gloves and carries a distinctive sword cane.
Background: He endured centuries of torment from the city's Toreador elite before striking a deal with the Bolshevik Brujah council to help him rid the city of their effete influence. Now that the Brujah have disappeared, he rides a fine line, accepting the demands of the Camarilla, while trying to keep his enemies from returning to the city. His greatest fear is that he might attract the attention of a Justicar. If he does, he plans to find a way to sacrifice his ally, Borisko, if possible, though appeasing the Camarilla Ventrue is only a step better than its Toreador in his book.
He holds court among the throngs of bloodthirsty mortals at the city's prevalent dogfights largely to discourage the more effete clans from attending, though he has largely lost any interest in them. He is undefeated in these fights, as he uses Animalism discipline techniques that allow him to loan his Potence and Fortitude to his animal ghouls. He claims personal domain over all government buildings, as well as the districts of Oborishte and Sredetz. Combined with the domain of his childer, this represents a large block of land in the heart of Sofia, which he watches carefully for any return of Toreador influence, though his heart isn't really in it anymore.
Personality: He vacillates between calm cold cynicism and enraged indignation. Though obviously well educated he often indulges in street slang and common vulgarity.
Childer: Emil has three known childer in Sofia: Mikhail, his whip and former Seneschal, Zahari, and Father Kliment.
Notes: Since his demotion to Primogen, Emil has scarcely been seen in Elysium save for functions that require his vote; though his childe Minko / Mikhail has returned to his roost at the Central Military Club and often acts as his proxy.
Current Events: There is precious little gossip about the ‘old’ prince, save that there was a disagreement between Emil and the Austrian sewer rat Alexander and Emil has refused to harbor or tutor the latest Nosferatu to arrive in the city.
