Zahari
Description: Apparent age – unknown. This hulking Nosferatu stands over 2.5 meters tall and probably weights over 300 kilos; physically, he appears entirely capable of struggling hand to hand with the Tzimisce war-form or ripping a Gargoyle limb from limb.
Notes: Zahari recently returned to the city in late 2007 to stand at the side of his sire; he was last seen in Sofia during the summer of 1914. He is Emil’s eldest childe and he was embraced during the Great Plague of 1738; presumably he was a victim of the Bubonic Plague as it spread throughout Eastern Europe from 1738 – 1740. Zahari has to have tailored clothing and wears a leather mask to cover the presumed wreckage of his face; he always smells of putrid blood and unwashed flesh. He is rarely encountered without Emil and seems to be mute and or simpleminded; he resembles nothing so much as ‘Frankenstein’s Monster’ minus the bolts in his neck. He resides with his sire’s brood in Sredets.
