Personality
Sobriquet: Ras Michael
Appearance: A tall, well built black man. He has whip marks on his back from his mortal days. They were self inflicted, though he claims often to be a former slave.
Behavior: Russel is a master manipulator. He has come into his own in San Francisco. He is a good leader, and master deal maker. He has perfect etiquette, and is a very big party guy.
History: Ras was born in on the coast near Morroco. His father was a wealthy business man and shipping magnate. Ras was raised with the finest tutors, and every comfort of the time. When he came into his majority he started his own shipping business, building an empire of his own, becoming entangled with the Settites. His sire ghouled him and used him, using him for nearly 150 years before making him a vampire in his own right. Ras has been a faithful Settite for a long time, and is deeply enmeshed in the machinations of his clan.
Ras has worked in New York, Philadelphia, Miami, Los Angeles for his clan. Keenly aware that he is a black childe of a European branch of his clan. Having met the elder crone Zhenya Motya, he has tried to find her approval. He is has been a successful soldier to the clan.
Mihai Carolus petitioned Zhenya Motya to send him Ras Michael to take over the front line operation of the House of Peace, and she concurred. Ras was sent, and he has lifted the temple to new heights while pacifying the Kuei-jin. Ras has begun to find the weaknesses of the Kuei-jin, and cater to them.
