Gervasio Díez was born in Havana - Cuba in 1961. His family fled Cuba and arrived in the United States in 1971 during the height of the original Cuban Refugee Crisis. Gervasio's family tried very hard to assimilate into American culture, but not always without friction and this made Gervasio into a fighter. Not much of a student he entered the Marine Corp and was deployed around the world as a military police officer. Gervasio did a twenty year tour and exited as a master gunnery sergeant. He found adjusting to civilian difficult and took a contract with a little known and very private security company which is how he came to work for the Tremere.
Recent Events
Until very recently Gervasio was the security head for Atherton House the Tremere chantry in San Francisco. Without warning or explanation the Regent (Killian Beckham) reassigned Gervasio as Arkady Dallas' security detail. Now a private security firm from Vienna is taking over the logistics of protecting Atherton House and Gervasio doesn't know how to take this sudden change in responsibilities. While Killian has assured him that the reassignment is temporary Gervasio isn't so sure. The new assignment of playing bodyguard isn't difficult for Gervasio except he doesn't know much about Arkady Dallas or how best to protect the man.
