Appearance
Anais is a petite, dark haired woman. Naturally slim, she likes showing off her body and her chalk white skin. Her eyes are a deep brown, her lips ruby red. She often wears tight pants and tops that show her de collage.
Behavior
Anais uses her beauty to distract those around her, to help get her ideas in their heads. She likes to pick up partners who are artists of the current trend. She has been recently dating streaming artists from San Francisco, encouraging them as she always has. No matter what else happens, Anais wants to be part of the happening scene.
History
Tradition holds that Anaïs met Neville Sinclair Nevermore at the same time Pietro diGenoa did: a birthday party for the Prince of Wales in London in 1901. Well it was either a birthday party for the prince or a party celebrating the death of Queen Victoria. Either way, it was a blast. The three met that night and the rest is fate.
People say Anaïs is actually much older than Neville and has known him a lot longer than most people think. She may even have been there for his Awakening. Some whisper she harbors a secret bitterness for Neville as well because he has gotten all the limelight. Some say there is no evidence of that. One never knows.
She's subtle in her magics. She works through pop culture. In the '50s she was in coffee houses encouraging the beat poets. Some say she was the one who got Jack Kerouac on the road. She also claims Roswell was her idea; that people needed something magical to believe in and fear and what better than the government and aliens. It may be the truth or her spinning a tale to increase her mystique. It's hard to tell. She does believe in the Grays, though, and says she knows people who have been abducted. Is it the truth? How can Awakened individuals deny there may be more out there than they think? Plus it doesn't matter if it's fantasy or fact. It's an intriguing thought and if she can add it to her legend, more power to her. She could have even masterminded the "alien autopsy". Maybe it's even real. She's freaky like that.
