Bio
Sobriquet: Sir Howard
Appearance: A young blond man in his 20's. Rakishly good looking. His hair has darkened over the last thirty years and is almost black.
Behavior
Howard is smart and crafty. Charming and likeable, Howard is deft at conversation and extracting information.
History:
Nigel was born the second son of wealthy merchant. Raised to be a priest, Nigel was afforded every opportunity for learning. Nigel was a very intelligent and inquisitive child, learning rapidly. As a young teen he got involved with a group of budding hedge wizards. They did dark research and Nigel found himself involved with infernalists.
Nigel was not happy being part of the group and kept looking for ways out, but was bound to stay or his involvement would be revealed to the church. Nigel worked hard and was being shown Theurgy as a priest in Italy. He was approached and wooed to join the Tremere. Seeing the opportunity to escape the Infernalists by being "dead", he took the embrace. After being given the cup, he left Italy for England to study Thaumaturgy.
Nigel worked his way up the pyramid, eventually finding himself stuck under Regent Wentz. Nigel tried to be a good supporter, but found he chaffed under the rules of the regent. He cast about once more for alternatives to staying stuck under the pyramid. One night he was approached by the small Brujah Louis le Monstre who offered him a new avenue of power. Subtly at first, with minor items and writings Le Monstre drew Nigel in. The little tastes of black thaumaturgy left NIgel trembling with the need for more information, the temptation of more power.
Nigel tried to avoid Le Monstre, but never stood a chance. Le Monstre engineered several situations to embarass Nigel, for him to want to use the power Le Monstre dangled in front of him. By the end of 1865, Nigel was thrashing at his bonds and the Tremere begged him for the caul. With glee Le Monstre escorted Nigel into the caul.
After becoming Ba'ali, within a short time he killed his Regent.
