Appearance
Faya is a full bodied Arabic woman. She often keeps her face covered, but has beautiful light brown skin and dark hair. She is average height for a woman, at about 5'3" tall. She favors dark robes.
Behavior
Faya is genial and attentive. She will most often not speak her mind, having been raised keeping her thoughts to herself.
History
Faya was born and raised in Iran by a clothing merchant. She learned numbers and sums by shadowing her father. At the age of majority he wanted to marry her away, but she ran from home to Alexandria. Faya stole money from her father to run, and managed to live on that and her skills with writing while living in Alexandria. Life was difficult, but she managed to establish a place for herself in the city. She never returned to Iran.
Alkmene Rusticus heard about this woman earning a living making contracts and doing sums for businesses in the area. Alkmene was intrigued and looked into who she was. Almene went to see her one evening just after the sun set and talked to her. Her fiery spirit and sharp intelligence surprised him. He embraced her immediately. Faya traveled to Vienna to take the cup, and trained as a Tremere in Spain. About five years ago she was asked to come to Alexandria.
Two other Tremere have died in Alexandria in the last ten years. The mystery behind both killings has her worried. She won't talk about that though. She doesn't know who to trust in the city, and doesn't even trust Clarus King, who sees her as a threat to him becoming regent of the city if Rusticus leaves.
An Alchemist by trade, she spends much of her time studying this new art and looking for rare substances to use in her formulae.
