Vampires of Sheffield
The Kindred of Sheffield are all transplants of one stripe or another. Between the atrocities of the Sabbat and the mortal hunters who stalked them, the native vampires of Sheffield are all thought to have died the Final Death. If any do survive, likely they are in torpor somewhere beneath the city. As such, there are only four clans present in the city and Princess Hathoway quickly and effectively discourages squatters or unannounced intruders. While it is possible that Sheffield could shelter more Kindred, its questionable whether its princess would welcome any additional newcomers.
Beasts
The Gangrel princess of Sheffield brought several childer with her when she came to make war upon the Sabbat for Baron Shawlands. Several died, a couple went into torpor, wartime replacements were made and when the Sabbat were defeated, another was made in celebration. The childer of Cyrilla Hathoway are an unusual coterie for several reasons, not least of which is that they are an entirely female brood. Stranger still is their speedy acclimation to city life and the tight bonds of loyalty rarely seen in extended broods. Regardless the new princess assures herself of numerical dominance through childer who are also each capable enforcers, as such she hasn't bothered to name a sheriff or scourge, her progeny fill both those roles admirably.
- -- Cyrilla Hathoway -- Former Gangrel scourge of Leeds and Princess of Sheffield.
- -- Sherisse Rayne -- Eldest childe of Cyrilla.
- -- Sìneag Sheach -- Middle childe of Cyrilla. {Deceased as of December 2042 - Slain in the Battle of Leeds}
- -- Beckah Longstaff -- A decade old neonate of Cyrilla.
- -- Muirgel O'Shea -- A recently embraced Whelp. {Deceased as of December 2042 - Slain in the Battle of Leeds}
Sewer Rats
Three of the Nosferatu of Sheffield are Irish emigres from Dublin who fled some sort of political struggle in their home city. The most recent addition to their number was made shortly after their arrival as a intercessor between the Irish Sewer Rats and the Mancunian ladies Gangrel. In general this tactic has worked fairly well and as such, the new Nosferatu, who have been in the city for nearly a decade are close allies of Sheffield's Gangrel monarch and her get.
- -- Riordan McCrae -- Irish Nosferatu and Elder Sewer Rat.
- -- Pádraic Desmond --
- -- Ionatán Callahan --
- -- Addie Allsopp -- Sheffield prostitute and English intermediary.
Warlocks
The new Tremere regent of Sheffield is a survivor of the Sabbat takeover of London by way of Manchester. When a Camarilla assault force was organized, his name was added to the roster of combatants. To everyone's surprise, he survived to claim territory in Sheffield after the defeat of the Sabbat in the early 2030s. He has established a chantry, gained the permission of Vienna to Embrace not just once, but twice and is a close political advisor to the Gangrel princess of Sheffield. Both of his apprentices are beautiful English women, embraced shortly after the city was liberated and are both neonates. The Tremere chantry in Sheffield is extremely close-knit and presents a unified front. There is no doubt in anyone's mind that the regent dotes on his apprentices and that they are extremely loyal and affectionate, perhaps too much so...
- -- Sri Sansa -- Tremere regent and personal adviser to Princess Hathoway.
- -- Brynne Holmes -- Apprentice of the Second Circle.
- -- Inez Quincey -- Apprentice of the First Circle.
Blue Bloods
The Ventrue of Sheffield were both originally Londoners. The elder of the two, Dame Gray is a solid ancilla of noble, some say royal extraction, embraced sometime in the early nineteenth century. While her younger protege Sir Marcus Brimley is a commoner who made his fortune during W.W.I. in the form of arms manufacturing and joined the peerage shortly thereafter. Fortune smiled on each of these noble scions, as each was absent from London when it fell to the Sabbat. When a campaign to liberate London was finally organized, these two blue-bloods quickly became involved and rode the tides of war back to London when it was finally freed of the Sabbat. Unfortunately, these two former residents of the Great Smoke found themselves politically isolated throughout the 2030s by the more organized Ventrue lineages. Eventually they banded together in mutual self-interest, but it was too little, too late and they were forced from the city they loved. Together they made their way north in search of a new home and eventually came to Sheffield. There they presented themselves and were accepted into the City of Steel. While it is a far cry from magnificent metropolis of London, Sheffield has sheltered them more effectively than any other city and as such they have decided to remain as residents. Surprisingly, despite their radical personal histories and differences, they have developed a genuine trust of and affection for one another. As such, they are more a family than allies or associates. As the newest coterie and most recently arrived clan to establish itself in Sheffield, they are still acclimating to the social framework of Sheffield or the lack thereof. And Dame Gray with the support of her adopted son, has quickly and unofficially become the de-facto "Keeper of Elysium" in Sheffield.
- -- Stefanie Gray - A neonate with connections to old nobility.
- -- Marcus Brimley - A wealthy Ventrue Mogul, recently returned from exile in Germany.
