Appearance: Mathias is a charming man, of 1m74 for 64 Kg, with brown hair and brown mysterious eyes. He is always wearing expensive clothes, but wears them in such a way that he appears to neglect his appearance. This négligé style wins him the heart of a lot of mortals and Kindred alike. Unlike more classical Kindred, he likes to wear almost any color, for any style. He dislikes the black, even if he aknowledge the awe the sudden appearance of a man in black can cause among mortals and Kindred.
Behavior: Before the death of his Sire, Mathias was a Don Juan that was restrained by the presence of Marie. Now that she is dead, he changed and became a loner, trying to avoid the company of others while trying not to appear to...
The games of Esprit and courtly love are such in Paris that most believe he is hiding a Don Juan nature behind a facade of Loner behavior... Ironic, isn't it?
History: Mathias was a student in economy, and future finance shark when his good looks attracted one gaze too much in the soirées he liked to attend
The little Don Juan seduced Marie, by acting as an unlucky but talented comedian, and she was so passionately in love with him that she asked François Villon the right to Embrace him.
Villon accepted, as Marie was one of his most trusted spy in the Cour. The problem was that soon after the Embrace, realizing how much his artistic talent was important to his Sire and lover, Mathias refused to play in any theater, claiming that the experience had shocked him beyond mere words.
Marie, so sensible to this kind of emotional shock, believed him, at first, tending to his needs, and showing him to every Harpy of the Cour. But her trust started to wane with the years. Mathias feared she would finally confront him, and perhaps destroy him when the manipulation would be discovered. Marie was becoming more and more distant...
Destiny chose otherwise...
In 1994, the remains of Marie were found in her Hôtel Particulier, with her retainers, as dead as she was.
Mathias was deeply affected by the death of Marie. In fact, he understood she was a great part of his unlife. And now, she was no more... In the same time, the Parisian Toreador started to gossip about how this death was convenient, letting the poor Mathias free from his Sire's claims...
Mathias' behavior changed, then. He decided he would avenge her, and so asked Ivan the right to join the Masques. Ivan had understood the Neonate was a Poseur, a simple Beauté. But he had talent, and was accepted as apprentice. He since became a full member, still searching for his Sire's murderers...
Recent Events:
Notes: He is said to have had relations with some Kindred females, and much gossip circulate about the reasons these relations never lasted more than a month. Strangely, no one among his last fiancées blamed him...
His weapon is a UZI with a laser. The laser doesn't help in a Full-Auto mode (and soon uncalibrate itself!), but still, this is deadly if used in surprise.
Actual Aim: To raise his Masque Status, and to find the murderers of his Sire.
Rumours:Mathias killed his Sire because her love for was too much (False).
Mathias entered the Mask to avoid investigations about his Sire's death (False).
