General Information
Sobriquet: Joe
Appearance: Joe is 5'10", with broad shoulders and a broad chest. His knuckles are abraded and scarred from the years of fighting in the New York streets. There is a small scar over his left eye, and his hair is starting to thin on top. When standing and watching, he often smokes cheroot cigars.
Behavior: Joe is quiet and steady. Once he gets a bad feeling about somebody of something, he will stick to it ruthlessly. Joe is seldom rude, but known to be very straight forward.
History: Joe was born in New York to Irish immigrant parents. He grew up living in the gangs of New York, taught to fight in the bare knuckle rings of John Morrissey. Joe learned to watch people and think things through as a manager and enforcer for those gangs. Joe grew tired of the violence and ugliness of the town. His folks had moved out to Covington, so Joe followed them. Six months after coming to town the marshal was killed in a gun fight by a pair of gamblers working together. Town leaders asked Joe to handle it, and elected him Marshal. Joe has been taking care of things ever since. He is willing to take bribes for small things, but has very definite lines about what he allows in his jurisdiction.
