Suddenly, the main double doors of the ballroom toppled inward. The smell of ancient vitae filled the air, and those of us who had turned to the door became aware of something hollow bouning into our field of vision: A skull, wearing Mustafa's elaborate turban.
A figure appeared astride the broken doors: Black clad and huge, wielding two ebon scimitars. From beneath his desert veil, a voice boomed: "I am Fuad Al'Zakari! All here are judged guilty and unworthy of the blood!" And then they were among us.
