Sobriquet: Ian, Virtual Warlord (online handle)
Appearance: Ian is 5'11" tall, with broad shoulders and narrow hips. He dresses in black trench coat, with black shirts and black pants. Usually black Doc Martins are on his feet. His dark blond hair is cut in a spiky top dress. Small diamond lip rings grace his mouth.
Behavior: Ian is dramatic and charismatic. People thought he was a gifted street performer, though in the end it was mostly tricks and cliche's stolen from real performers. His brashness and false confidence are enthralling at first, but anyone who watches for very long realizes he is a fraud.
History: Christian was born to a wealthy family, and was sent to private schools. His parents wealth guaranteed him success, as no one wanted to lose his parents patronage. Christian skated by in school. Brilliant, and highly talented with computers, Christian disdained the rigors of academe. Christian became a hacker, finding his skill at sneaking into systems and handling data as he saw fit.
Christian got in trouble with the authorities for his pranks, and was arrested. They found they couldn't hold him though,there was a glitch in the online system, and his case kept getting thrown out for unknown reasons. Dad wanted him to join the family business, but Christian wanted nothing to do with a 9 to 5 office job, he wanted to be a cyber ninja.
Several years went by, and Christian was making himself a pretty good living off of internet wars and stealing from corporations. It was in pilfering one of these accounts that Christian came to the attention of Ivan St. Martin. After watching the young man work for some time, Ivan became sure he was the future to keep the masquerade intact in Paris. Ivan went to Villon and received permission to bring the young man on.
Ivan has used Ian for undercover operations among mortals. It didn't take Ian long to figure out that he was doomed to be Ivan's lackey, and it rankled. Ian made contact with some Anarchs last year, and they have begun to influence his attitude toward the power structure in Paris. The Anarch leaders have begun putting the idea into Ian's head that he could take Ivan out, and not be the servant anymore...
