City of Kumanovo
Location: North Central Macedonia, in the extreme east of the Kumanovo municipality.
Climate: Temperate.
History: Settled in the late 15th or early 16th century, the town was first noticed by Ottoman authorities in 1519. Kumanovo became the administrative center for its region in the early 17th century. In the late 17th century, it became a center of rebellion against Ottoman rule. During World War II, Kumanovo was a center of anti-fascist insurrection and Macedonian nationalism.

Population: Aproximately 135,000, Over the past decade, the city has grown significantly due to immigration from the countryside in search of employment.

Police: The Police of Kumanovo are strong and violent. They greatly fear allowing the chaos of the countryside into the city, which makes for an atmosphere of martial law, particularly after dark.
Organized Crime: Minor within the city, though rumors fly about smuggling rings. In the countryside, some of the most violent criminals in Europe organize themselves. In the city, "Security Companies" run the majority of illegal activity.
Notable Supernaturals: Rumors abound of animals that have been seen in the streets. Though these rumors span decades, the descriptions remain strikingly similar.
