Axel Joss
Axel Joss was a hulking German expatriate, who's size belied his gentle manner. He arrived in Sofia with several other Caitiff in search of a Dhampyr (child born to a vampire and mortal) infant, whose blood they believed would allow them to become mortal again. Axel was a pacifist, and fed from animals as often as possible, and willing mortals when his vampiric nature forced him to. He resided in Kremikovtsi along with the other acknowledged Caitiff of Sofia, under the watchful eye of the Scourge, Nikki (Caden Drud).
His Death: Ironically, the incredibly humane Axel was the victim of righteous hunters, who tortured and killed him in the name of God. They were lead to him by what they were able to extract from their first victim, Veronika Yordan. It remains unknown what he revealed that they might use, or what his death may provoke other young vampires of Sofia to do.
