Philippe d'Estrée
Appearance:
Behavior: Philippe likes to appear in public and to enjoy luxuries. He loves beauty more than anything else. If possible, he will remain the whole night with Ligeia.
History: The Spanish Civil War, the World War Two and the following post-war fears didn't affect Philippe's childhood. Only child of a banker, he is sent, at the beginninh of the war, in Switzerland, with his mother. He will study art and latin in a boarding-school. His father died in the war, making his son the only heir of a great fortune.
Philippe always knew what he wanted. When he couldn't have it immediately, he waited patiently for the right moment. Nothing was never refused to him. While he was talented at painting, he never became famous because of the scarcity of his art: He paints only when inspired, which happens rarely. But it's not rare to see him paint months a row when he happens to be inspired...
He secretly was (and still is) feel deep anguish of on night losing all his inspiration. His last muse was Ligeia, and he painted dozens portraits of her. It was she who offered him the greated gift he could even dream of: Immortality. He never felt again as much need or inspiration to paint since then. Ligeia is his only reason to live, and he loves her since more than thirty years.
In 1977, a painting of Vermer, La Laitière disappeared, and was almost destroyed. Philippe, hired by Elle, succeeded in finding it and saving it from the flames. Elle then convinced François Villon to give him the right to Embrace Progeny.
Philippe waited for 13 years to find the suitable Childe: Yorgues, poet and actor.
