Introduction: The list was found in the possessions of a junior professor of Archeology at the New Bulgarian University. He was originally suspected of indiscretions with his female students, who subsequently went missing. An investigation of his house revealed no signs of foul play, but it did reveal the 'Century List' written on common notebook paper, folded and stuffed into the middle of a nineteenth century textbook on the history of Sofia.

The junior professor was never seen again, it was assumed by the police that he went insane and killed the missing girls, then fled Bulgaria for parts unknown. The truth is far more horrific, though the facts may never be verified, it is likely he was devoured by the 'Mirror of the Vanities' after one of his victims escaped the mirror's charms. The mirror was the second item of interest found in his possessions and it was removed from his home by agents of the Manus Nigrum and hidden in a secret storage facility somewhere in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The arcane objects found on the list, were found written along the margin of the notebook paper in a random order. When the 'Mirror of the Vanities' was found first, the list began to be numbered from that point forward. However, based upon the notes and arcane calculations of the deceased Tremere Regent Zlatko Paisi found in his 'Appendix of Spontaneous Talismans of Sofia', the list was recently revised according to the probable chronological order of the supposed age of the items in question.
