Blade of the Nosferatu (Item 84)
Appearance: A brutal looking combat knife, complete with blood grooves and a simple ivory handle.
Background: The Blade of the Plague Bearer (Nosferatu in Greek) can be traced back more than a thousand years, at least through rumor and legend. It may have at one time, been a Vampire cursed by a powerful sorcerer to be a knife.
Personality: The Blade is bloodthirsty, and wants to kill and betray.
Powers: The blade drinks blood from its victims (giving further credence to the idea that it may have been a Vampire at one time), and uses that blood to fuel its powers. It possesses vampiric disciplines, including Animalism (up to 6 - Sweet Hunter's Whispers), Protean (up to 5), Obfuscate (up to 5), and Potence 5 - usable only when the knife strikes a target.
Curse: The Blade of the Nosferatu must drink blood every day, and must take a sentient life (human or supernatural) at least once a month. If it does not, it begins to drain health levels from its current owner.
