History: Hannah Genevieve Blanchett was born to the rich land and business owners Joel and Prudence Blanchett in 1789. Hannah was raised in the St. Louis area her whole life, traveling twice with her mother down river to New Orleans to experience Society living. Hannah found the society life enthralling, but as an impetuous youth found the rougher men coming to the city immensely attractive. Hannah met and married the successful trapper and trader Winlath Maclorn in 1807. They spent several years together, with Winlath often gone trapping or shipping trade goods to or from the Indians. Hannah conceived five children by Winlath, Mary, Thomas, Jean, Celeste, and Catherine. Winlath tried for years to get his socialite wife to come out to the mountains with him, but she was simply not interested. Theirs was a tumultuous marriage both torn and saved by the footloose style of Winlaths' business. In the spring of 1814 news came from the plains that Winlaths' cabin had been attacked and burned by Cheyenne Indians. The mountain men who told the story also made sure everyone in St. Louis knew that Winlath had been keeping a squaw wife out there with him. Hannah was mortified and simultaneously grieved deeply for her lost husband, and hated him for the shame he brought her in society. After his reported death she retreated to her paints and sketches to mourn his loss. Wanting to get away from the memory of her husband, Hannah traveled downriver to New Orleans, and eventually to Philadelphia, where she was discovered by the toreador Annabelle Triabell. After becoming enraptured with Hannah's amazing ability to paint, Annabelle took her as a childe. Maria was affronted, but smoothed the matter over with the Prince. After her embrace and introduction into Kindred Society Hannah spent fifty years in the city of Brotherly Love. Hannah then came back to St. Louis and found her long lost husband a member of the Gangrel clan. Furious that she spent all those years mourning a man who was not "dead" and who had cheated on her, she has never forgiven him. She makes it a point to cause him trouble whenever she can.
