If I look at the difficulty of the roll, I would say it's a level one ritual (4 + 1 = 5) for what has been called a "out-of-clan caster", what this means is that the caster doesn't belong to a bloodline with a hereditary use of blood magic like the Tremere, hence the difficulty of four (4) which combines with the level of the ritual in this case one (1) for a total of five (5). -- | ||
