Yan Sirkov to Mary Wyncott
Delivered via courrier shortly after sunset to Mary Wyncott'slast known residence. Prepared with Encrypt Missive - yes, this is the first time I've revealed any use of sorcery to her.
Dearest Mary,
I'm affraid that I have little time for plesantries, I can only wish that this missive bore better news.
Parallell events in Sofia and Dresden have alerted me to a dire situation. I now believe that Gustavus Von Lorthengen's ascention to the Princedom of Sofia will incite the Boleshivik Brujah to move their plans for conquest forward: They have infiltrated portions of the Bulgarian military, and have been preparing something for some time. I believe that they are quite capable of making Sofia very dangerous.
At the same time, I have been pressed into service as an Alastor, and will be unable to return to Sofia for some months. I have made arrangements to ensure that messages reach me when delivered in the usual way, and electronic communication will find me regardless. I plan to return when I am allowed, and make my peace with whatever Prince holds the city at that time.
If you choose to leave the City of Wisdom, I hope that you will keep in touch. If not, please stay safe! The world would be a dimmer place without your presence.
Yours, Yan Sirkov.
