Ward Wrack
This is a more powerful version of the level 3 ritual, Rip Ward. It is designed to destroy several wards in one fell swoop. Hanging magics that can be affected are the same as those affected by the level 1 ritual Detect Ward.
System: The caster must create a circle around the wards to be affected using knives of the purest gold, silver, iron, and copper. This is a tedious process, requiring a dexterity + crafts roll at 8, 1 roll per hour, each success gives 3 feet of acceptable pattern, a botch destroys the entire pattern. Once completed, the chanting thaumaturge pours his blood into the pattern, which mystically flows into the traced runes and lines, a process that requires 1 blood point per 30 feet of pattern, and takes one full minute. With the final words of power, he lights the blood the caster and any bystanders must roll rotscheck, difficulty 7, but the ritual is already complete at this point. The mystical patterns blaze for two rounds, while the magic degrades all wards within the circle. As with Rip Ward, each success removes one success from the casting of each affected ward.
