Village of Exile
Introduction
The Village of Exile l Is located a mile east of the great forest of Dearmadach. It lies upon the crest of a chalk hill. The hill rises about five-hundred feet above the surrounding grasslands and is roughly diamond shaped.
The village is a Celtic hillfort, meaning the hill upon which it is located is fortified by several layers of eathen works and a wall of stout timbers plundered from the nearby forest, it is also reinforced by square stone towers at strategic points.
The village of Exile was built to house upwards of a thousand souls, but currently only about one hundred and fifty people reside within its walls. The hillfort is broken into two diamond shaped enclosures, the larger of the two lies downhill of the small elevated fortification.
