Tiberius Blake to Yan Syrkov

- Issue - A meeting with the Regent.
Mr. Syrkov,
- As your assistant, I feel it is my duty to point out that the only logical course of action that I can see is an immediate meeting with the Tremere Regent.
- There are three primary reasons for this course of action.
- The first is that the Tremere seem to have steered us away from the actual scene of the crime and with the option to investigate it and see what the Tremere might have taken from the scene we cannot reconstruct what actually happened and what face our quarry now wears.
- Two - we desperately need sorcerous defenses against a quarry of this magnitude and it is the Tremere's responsibility to provide us with all necessary aid in our hunt for their escaped quarry.
- Three - I feel that under these circumstances we are justified in asking the Tremere about a potential survivor in the form of a Rockhead guardian. If our investigation at the quay revealed anything, it was the possibility of such a survivor, who could have been witness to any transformations that our quarry might have made.
- After our last meeting with the Tremere Regent, I feel that my presence might complicate the meeting. The Tremere are notorious for dismissing the opinions of underlings and unfortunately, in this circumstance, I am regarded as such - no matter how ridiculous that notion might be.
- Instead of accompanying you, I will make what inquiries I can in the City, I still have some small number of connections in London.
- Your Eternal Servant - Commander Tiberius Blake
