The Order of the Bull Rampant
The Order of the Bull Rampant is a knightly society based in Chester, in the West of England. The order is dedicated to Mithras through his High Priest and eldest active childe in Britain, Marcus Verus.
The Order of the Bull Rampant recruits its squires as mortals, and trains them for decades or centuries before they earn the embrace, and are promoted to the knighthood in an elaborate Mithrean ceremony.
The ceremony and heraldry of the order retains a Christian Verneer (a legacy of the Medieval era), but behind closed doors the order sheds all trappings of Christianity in favor of unapologetic Mithracism.
The Knights of the Bull Rampant are a subsect of the Order of Avalon, a knightly society devoted to the service of Mithras. Most often, the Bull Rampant serves as bodyguards and armed forces of Marcus Verus.
