Gallû

Territory is physical area (usually within the chronicle’s city) to which the Gallû controls access for the purpose of feeding. Some Gallû refer to their Territory as Abbatoir, and most jealously guard their Territory. As part of this Background, the character’s claim to the domain is recognized by the Tyrant or some other Gallû authority in the city where it is located.

The Gallû who claims the domain can’t keep the living inhabitants from going about their business, nor does she exercise any direct influence over them, but she can keep watch herself and mind their comings and goings. She can also have Allies or Retainers specifically look for unfamiliar night folk and alert him/her when they find some.

Territory refers to the graveyard areas where a Gallû has control. As a Gallû grows in power it usually takes in more area it can pass through unhindered and the corpses it can consume, while also gaining a hunting area to take live flesh for food, Beasts, and Chattel

Each level of Territory reduces the difficulty of hunting checks by one of the Gallû and those whom the Gallû allows in. It also adds to the Gallû's base corpus level.
