Talk:Symon le Gris
I think I finally understand the problem of the Toreador Doppelgänger, Simon. In a discussion with Jason & Brenda, I could finally see the problem. Simon isn't supposed to be a Toreador. The flighty, effervescent artistes and hedonists are for the most part directionless and Simon is definitely so. But, in looking more closely at the character I see my error. He was supposed to be a Ravnos, a performer of illusions who told stories to his illusions. It explains how he has survived so long on the outskirts of Paris and why he can be friends with so many of the Low Clans. In all other respects, his story is the same, he has only just gained a permanent haven in Paris at the theater in the Asian quarter. In fact, his being Ravnos changes almost nothing about the story he has just participated in. I do want your honest criticism and don't hold back. -- "The Magister 20:10, 1 January 2017 (MST)"
I am willing to honor the change, but in Paris this is dangerous. Villon is serious about his desire to protect the art of the city and the masquerade. I suggest we try it...if nothing else it would thin the herd. Not that he couldn't go elsewhere should he desire
