Bruce: Keith, the map of the New Republic of Texas seems to include the Louisiana Free State. As part of our story, Louisiana is a separate and more or less neutral nation. Many of our group's stories took place in Louisiana or New Orleans so it became a kind of unofficial neutral territory. "The Magister 08:17, 4 February 2016 (MST)"
Keith: I understand. But the reality is that for it to be a "free" state, it has to be protected somehow. I would like to propose that the while New Orleans and Louisiana is free, it is under the protectorate of Texas, therefore part of the Republic of Texas. I haven't laid all this out in the notes...let me know if that causes a problem.
Bruce: I don't see a problem, your just filling in the blanks which is fine with me.
