Keith, I know that you have described this character already, but after looking up his name and learning its meaning, I felt compelled to try this version of the character. These pictures are of the British actor Nonso Anozie as he played the scheming character of Xaro Xhoan Daxos. After consulting both Wikipedia and Behind the Name, I noticed that the name Mauritanus wasn't a real name, but had close versions in the two following name origins: Mauritius (dark skinned or Moorish) or Mauritius (a descendant of Mauritania - a nation of north-west Africa. Given all that, I thought of the character from Game of Thrones, a dark-skinned showman who favors only the finest clothing and jewelry to accentuate his image - the consummate showman or con-artist.
