Bernard is mentioned in Transylvanian Chronicles as Villon's seneschal. "The Magister 23:21, 7 August 2016 (MDT)"
Note: Bernard <6> Sire of Chevalier d'Eglantine (1454). [TC3]
I interpreted this to mean that Villon had sired him and thus he was a trusted elder childe. "The Magister 23:24, 7 August 2016 (MDT)"
