The Svartálfar are makers extraordinaire. Without exception harvesting metals and materials for their amazing craftsmanship, and the creation of such items keeps these beings busy. Their toil brings business, business is the generation of power, power allows them to make more things. The Svartálfar are crafty deal makers, and honor their agreements to the letter. They also expect all others to do the same. Anyone making a deal with the Svartálfar and not keeping it one hundred percent can look forward to being visited by enforcers from Svartálfheim. The Svartálfar are implacable foes. Only those who bring danger to the Svartálfar get their attention for long. That attention brings with it the power of the earth and the maniacal attention of those who see every effort as needing perfection. So when the Svartálfheim people turn to violence, things die and are utterly destroyed.

Description: Topping out at 5' tall, the Svartálfar are broad, with males being nearly 4' wide at the shoulders and chest, muscles rippling and bulging. They wear the finest armor and clothes, with jewels and metallic jewelry commonly adorning piercings. Males wear long braided beards. Females are more slender, lacking beards. While smaller than males, females are still fearsome in strength.
