Strotires
Introduction
The Greek term for those mortals who have a supernatural affinity for dreams is strotires (στρωτήρες: Str-O-tear-es). No one now living, knows the origins of the strotires, but there are legends from before the time of Homer, of a people devoted to the gods who could carry the pleas of the people to Olympus itself as they slept. Seen as an oracular people, they held a holy status among the early Greeks.
