Regina Horst
Sobriquet: Mistress of the Dumps (her chosen title) or Monster Girl (rude and stupid)
Appearance: Regina was probably in her early teens when she was Embraced, for despite her monstrous appearance she has the petite frame of budding adolescent blooming into womanhood. Regina is 4 foot, 10 inches tall and weights no more than 90 pounds soaking wet. Her skin is as pale and bloodless as alabaster and she has only a few wisps of coarse white hair left on her head or anywhere else. Her skin is wrinkled like that of an extremely elderly person and her body is so thin that she resembles a concentration camp victim. Almost exclusively she wears the second and third hand clothes she finds while she scrounges in the city's dumping grounds. Ironically or not, she prefers to wear frilly dresses with lace or velveteen trimmings and she tends to go barefoot wherever she goes. A strong smell of rotting garbage accompanies her presence though she tries to cover it with the cheap, cloying floral perfumes she finds on her midnight scavenger hunts.
Behavior: Contrary to her appearance, there is nothing remotely inhuman about Regina's behavior. She is a sweet young woman trapped in the emaciated corpse of an undead rag doll. Normally she is quite shy and as quiet as a dormouse. Regina is known for a constant stream of romantic infatuations that often devolve into a fairly innocent form of stalking. Equally, if she comes face to face with the object of her desire she can be quite flirtatious in an innocuous sort of way. The only time she deviates from these norms are when she is negotiating a complicated bargain for one of her midnight-wares or when someone threatens one of her loved ones, then the Beast emerges with frightening speed and violence. Afterwards, she is consumed with horror and remorse at her bestial actions and she will go to great lengths to make amends, if possible.
