Palanka
Background: Palanka was embraced in Agra, Turkey sometime in the 17th century. He moved to the Danube with a his Turkish minions to establish the town of Planka Lom (now just called Lom) in mid 18th century. Since then, he has feuded with a succession of rulers of nearby Montana, who believe themselves to be masters of the entire province. He has sent their minions back dead or with an arrow through their undead hearts ever since.
Appearance: Palanka is a tall, powerfully built man with an elaborate mustache. He tends to dress in billowing clothing reminiscent of styles popular in the Turkish empire. He has been known to don a fez for meetings with other vampires. It is known that he sometimes carries a custom-built compound bow that no mortal could hope to pull.
