Mélisande
Sobriquet: Mélisa
Appearance: A handsome woman of 40. Melisa stands 5'10" tall, with straight golden hair. Her eyes are a steely grey, and she has the solid assurance of a woman who has run things her whole life.
Behavior: Melisande knows what she wants, and is not willing to let much stand in her way. While she might come off at time as superficial and slightly out of kilter, she is direct when letting people know what she wants. No, she really doesn't care what you think.
History: Melisande was born the daughter of a wealthy businessman. Her mother was noble blood, and she was always raised to be a lady, and to know that most people are her lessors. She went to the best schools, wore the best dresses, had the finest horses. Her husband Jean was the son of a diplomat, and they had a very social, upfront marriage. She bore him three children, who had the best nannies. In the mean time the two of them partied and slept with whomever they chose, as long as it didn't bring scandal. Jean was sent to Algeirs for a foreign relations visit. He was killed in the Oran Massacre in 1962. Melisande held a funeral, and moved on.
Melisande met Charles Amour at a dinner function in the year of 1964. The two of them were in a room full of CEO's and upper crust business men and women. They began to talk, and as Melisande discovered that Charles could help her expand her current shipping ventures, agreed to sleep with him for capital to fund her expansion. Charles then offered her the chance to become immortal and have real power. Melisande excepted. She has been his strong right hand ever since.
