Lanzo von Sachsen
- Venice -- medieval -DAV- Ventrue
Sobriquet: Ambassador or Count
Appearance: A warrior and statesman in the last years of his prime. Lanzo still radiates mortal virility while possessing an elegant, but aging mien. Lanzo is tall for a medieval man and still muscular enough to throw his weigh around when necessary, but just his gaze can pin most people in place. Unlike most medieval men, he prefers to go clean shaven and his spiky gray hair is cropped short after years spent wearing a helmet on the battle field. Despite the long decades of his undeath, Lanzo can still pass for mortal without much effort. Unlike most of his brethren among the Ventrue, Lanzo has adapted to the changing fashions and customs of the late 11th century and Italy which makes him the idea spokesman for the Holy Roman Empire and his clan.
Behavior: Lanzo von Sachsen is the consummate medieval lord. German by birth, he is proud of his heritage as a Christian, a European and a nobleman. Having spent his entire mortal life protecting the Christians of the Holy Roman Empire, he continues that quest in undeath. As the winds of change begin to blow throughout Europe, Lanzo sees that the time has come again for Christian soldiers to carry the Savior's banner against all who would threaten Christendom. Given his point of view, he was assigned to act as Hardestadt's ambassador to the Cainites of Venice, but more importantly, he acts as a agent provocateur in countering the Assamites and Followers of Set in La Serenissima. While Lanzo has many skills and abilities that he uses to defend the Holy Roman Empire, his most effective tool is his elegant speech which more often than not turns the tide of most circumstances to his favor.
