<appearance>

Appearance: The Kirivya's Draba (Godmother's Spell) is only visible to those who can see sorcery and consists of countless crimson motes of light that drift through the air of the Fakulteta Foros (town) like perenial embers and which glow from every open flame within the town. Mortals are completely unaware of the Draba, except perhaps in dreams; supernaturals are another matter and have a variable capacity to feel the power of the Draba.

Background: The Kirivya's Draba was cast during the Second Grand Lunar Eclipse of the Common Era which took place on the winter solstice of year 2010; like other enchantments cast during this rare mystical event, the Draba is far more powerful than the sorcery that it was based upon, it is more than likely that its power will manifest in a variety of new ways.

Powers: The Draba is a singularly potent manifestation of the level five thaumaturgic ritual: "Pulse of the Sacred Land". As such, only the Kirivya Fifika (Godmother Fifika) can use its immense power to search out the supernatural denizens of the darkened world. Since the Draba is a powerful extention of her senses, she can use any of her sensory abilities anywhere in Fakulteta as if she were standing there physically. This power doesn't permit her to astrally project or to scry, rather she is simply one with Fakulteta and thus, she can see what is happening in any street, listen to any conversation held in the town and follow any supernatural without risk of being caught. This unparalleled ability to spy within Fakulteta means very little escapes the notice of the Godmother Fifika; this power even extends to the sacred places of the other Vadoma. The only remaining questions are, can Kirivya's Draba foil the illusions of Wenzel Xeven and what will the Lord of Illusions do when he realizes what the Kirivya's done to Fakulteta?

Notes: So far, the only new manifestation of the Draba allowed the Kirivya to detect the presence of foreign magic in her domain when the Dur-an-Ki master Kateb Zeke used his power to drag Madame Fifika into his dream realm on New Year's Day in 2013.
