Kaleidoscope of Incantations
Description: A Magus has to prepare ahead of time to be in physical combat. With a large amount of short term battle magic the caster needs a way to construct their short term spells ahead of time. Kaleidoscope of Incantations groups short term combat spells allowing them to be cast all at once, with little effort at the time.
Origin: Brian O'Reilly/Sorka
Casting: The caster constructs a small box. The box must be of a fine wood and carry symbols/runes on the outside identifying it's purpose. The box must physically hold the spells or have the activation word/words carved on the inside. I willpower point is spent to set the magic.
System: The box is prepared ahead of time and takes 1 hour per spell being stored. No roll is required but caster must have a min 2 Crafts. Once the box is complete the caster puts all the spells into the box and seals it. Roll Int + Rituals (Success is number of months the box is good for). All spells need to have been cast prior to this ritual and must be able to be hung. Once the spells are sealed their duration is in stasis and uses the boxes duration. Can hold a number of spells equal to the casters Wits rating.
Note: This is for spells that affect the caster. Cannot store offence magic, only enhancement magic can be stored. It cannot store path magic unless effected separately by Suspension of Incantation or something similar. The target for any path can only be caster(or item caster has on their person). This can only hold magic that is stored, and helps release those stored magics. For instance it could hold several Icons that could be released all at once when the box is used. I plan to create more rituals that would work well with this spell.
