4th Century

326: Constantinople Founded - Michael's Final Speech to the Cainites of Rome, the Departure of the Triumvirate and the Formation of the Inconnu.

5th Century

476: The Fall of Rome - The First Great Maelstrom.

11th Century

1022:The wizard Tremere and his mortal followers steal Tzimisce blood in order to become immortal, thus beginning the First Omen War.

12th Century

1133:The self-created blood wizard Tremere diablerizes the Salubri ancient to cement his bloodline's legitimacy.
1184: The first institution of the Inquisition via Papal Bull titled: Ad Abolendam in response to the growing threat of the Catharist heresy in Southern France.

13th Century

1204: The Fourth Crusade sacks Constantinople - The Death of Michael and the Destruction of his Dream.
1205:The War of Princes begins as word of Michael's destruction ripples across Europe.
1252: Pope Innocent IV, authorizes the use of torture in the search for heresy by the Inquisition. - The first Cainite victims fall to the Inquisition.
1282: War of the Sicillian Vespers - Gratiano, the youngest childe of the Lasombra Ancient strikes the first blow in the "First Anarch Revolt" by leading a motley collection of rebellious childer to storm the Castle of Shadows on Sicily, overwhelming its defenses and consuming his ancient sire's blood.

14th Century

1337: The Hundred Years War begins.
1347: The Black Death decimates Europe - The Second Great Maelstrom.
1381: The Peasant's Revolt of England - The Start of the First Anarch Revolt.
1395: Tzimisce Anarchs led by Lugoj Blood-Breaker unearthed the location of the Tzimisce Ancient, disinterred it and committed the Amaranth upon their clan founder.

15th Century

1435: Hardstadt calls for the Formation of a Camarilla to challenge the chaos of the Anarchs, the European Elders are sceptical, but a core group forms around the charismatic Ventrue.
1444: The Diablerie of Cappadocius, the Birth of the Giovanni Clan and the beginning of the Cappadocian Purge.
1450: The Founders of the Camarilla amass enough influence with the elders of Europe to counter Anarch aggression - the ancient stronghold of Clan Assamite discoved by Camarilla agents.
1453: The Hundred Years War ends.
1455: The English - War of Roses - begins.
1485: The English - War of Roses - ends.
1492: Columbus discovers the New World and claims the Americas for Spain.
1493: The Second Convention of the Camarilla held in the English village of Thorns to discuss the terms of the Anarch's surrender; Clan Assamite punished for its role in the Revolt with the Tremere Curse and most Anarchs re-enter the Camarilla fold. The Toreador Rafael de Corazon makes his famous speach demanding the enforcement of the Traditions with the Masquerade and the those Anarchs who reject the terms of the Convention of Thorns flee to later become the Sabbat.

16th Century

1514: Lord Roger de Camden - Cappadocian Seneschal to Prince Mithras is slain by the Giovanni.
1542: The Witchcraft Act is passed in England forbidding the practice of witchcraft.
1558: Queen Elizabeth rises to the English throne.
1576: The first permanent theater established in London.
1588: The Spanish Armada is lauched to defeat England, but sinks in the channel.

17th Century

1600: The Third Great Maelstrom - The Age of Turmoil.
1605: November 5th - English catholics try to blow up the parliment building and fail.
1666: The Great Fire of London - Ambrogeno Giovanni seeks the aid of Tremere expert in a Babalonian Translation of the Sargon Fragment.
1692: The Salem Witch Trials.

1757: The East India Company becomes the defacto government of India.
1776: The American Revolution.
1798: The Departure of Prince Mithras for the East - the Regency of Valerius of London.

1812: The War of 1812.

2002 - 2013: Western Powers Occupation - U.S./ NATO Alliance defeats Iraqi Regime and begin eleven years of expansion and occupation throughout middle-east.

2007: Hurricane Katrina destroys the U.S. city of New Orleans.

     Tremere Rises, weak and confused.  Flight 933 Rome to Slovenia is kidnapped to feed him. The plane is blown up
     up over France, all lives lost.  Damage blamed on Al Queda. Tremere stays hidden, operating from the shadows as he gathers strength.

2008: Financial unrest in America, world markets tremble.
2009: President Obama takes office.

2010

2011: The Arab Spring - numerous Mideastern nations experience popular revolutions. For the first time, the United States government publicly acknowledges the validity of Global Warming.

    100 Tremere Antitribu are found as pillars of ash in a cavern under Popocateptle.

2012: Fall of Quadafi, widespread civil war in the middle east. Obama re-elected.
2013: Vladamir Putin returns to power and begins the long chess game of rebuilding Mother Russia. 

     The Ventrue of Moscow consolidate their power base and move into the void left by the 
     fall of Babba Yaga. For the first time since the Romanovs' Moscow has a Ventrue Prince.

2014: The Rise of the Drones – The U.S begin the widespread use of drones to support the security of its state.
2014: Rise of ISIL, burgeoning attempt to bring the back the Unified Levant.
2014: Racial unrest increases due to the Michael Brown killing in Ferguson, MO.
2015: The first public appearance of the experimental combat drug – L.A.C.E. in Iraq and later that year throughout the Middle East.

  • Freddie Gray dies in Baltimore Maryland. Race Riots explode across the city, and several other cities experience unrest.
    Early Summer, St. Louis: The Sabbat begin making childer in mass numbers, making a run at
    the Camarilla under the cover of race riots.

2016: The beginning of the Greek Civil War. 

     Autumn - The Assassination of Prince Carlak of Prague.
  • Atlanta Freedom Marches - the United States Military cracks downs on demonstrators.

2017: The U.S. President Clinton assassinated by Muslim suicide bomber in Chicago, Vice President Warren becomes President.
2018: The U.S. government grants declares all corporations subordinate to government control. Production quota's and employment mandates put in place.
2019: The Quebec Crisis and the Canadian Civil War - Quebec succeeds from Canada. The United States government and Great Britain become involved in Canadian Civil War.

2020

February 15, American dollar collapses, leading to a consortium take over of the United States by the United Nations to protect world markets. UN begins implementing UN initiatives and supplanting the US constitution. President Warren is re-elected.

2021

  • May 18, Atlanta Freedom Marches - the United States Military cracks downs on peaceful demonstrators, resulting in fighting. 62 demonstrators are injured, national guard troops use water hoses and tear gas to break up the crowds.
    July 1, Muslims in Michigan hold a rally for Sharia Law recognition. The Aryan Dawn detonates a bomb killing 2, wounding 40. For 3 days the Aryan Dawn and CAIR supporters use Milwaukee for a battle ground exchanging gun fire.
     Camarilla vampires and Garou have a semi-open war in Milwaukee, there are many breaches of the masquerade.
  • July 4, The President calls for calm and offers peace talks. Leaders from both groups attend, but no resolution to the issues.
    The Gangrel Archon comes to the city to broker a peace deal, but is assassinated by the 
    Phoenix Society before peace can be achieved.  Only when kinfolk children are held by vampires can the Garou be convinced
    to talk.  A shaky peace is restored.
  • July 11, UN and American military begin concerted attempt to disarm American citizens.
    August 5, UN troops move into the Dallas Fort Worth area at first with assistance from the US military at 5 PM. Shots are fired at the West End light rail station two blocks from the Texas Book Depository building killing 5 American citizens, and wounding 8 others. UN Troops storm a building resulting in an explosion,setting fire to the building and killing 20 more. US troops stationed in the area mutiny, arresting the UN troops and holding them for trial after being ordered to stand down.
    September 12, The Texas Rangers move UN troops to hold for trial after being formally charged with the killing of American civilians. When federal agents come to take them back to Washington DC Texas National Guard troops turn the Federal agents around, loading them back on planes after a 48 hour stand off.
    October 3, Texas Governor McCandless informs the US government of procedures in the Texas legislature to secede from the Union. National Guard troops form a cordon around military bases, cutting them off from all land contact.
    October 30, The US government declares a state of national martial law as unrest flares up across the western states. Texas declares independence and succession from the US. It is quickly followed by Arizona, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, and Utah. Federal troops flood into Kansas and Colorado, Wyoming.
    100 vampires are found as pillars of ash under Iru Phutunqu in Chile.  Camarilla launches a massive investigation.
    The Tremere have nothing to say.

2022

  • January 8, Major earthquake hits Arkansas, 8.7 on Richter scale.
    January 9
    Ventrue Prince of Memphis accuses the clan Tremere of causing the earthquake in open court.  An appeal is made
    to the Camarilla Inner Circle to sanction the Tremere by clan Ventrue. Etrius walks out as the vote is 6 to 1.
    The Tremere decide that the Camarilla cannot protect its interests and separates from the Camarilla.
  • January 10, Militias in Colorado and Kansas work in concert with troops out of Texas and New Mexico to trap Federal troops and disarm them. Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Oregon, and Washington secede.
    March, Missouri and Arkansas waver, UN Troops supported by the Federal troops begin an influx into St.Louis and Little Rock.
    May 3, The Dakotas declare themselves one District. Michigan and Iowa secede, joining the western states in rebellion. The Western Alliance bombs the bridges on the Mississippi in a unified strike. The bridge at Memphis becomes the only bridge left standing on the whole Mississippi.
    June 4, Western Alliance War of Independence is officially declared by the first Western Congress in Cheyenne Mountain.
    June 10, Southern Manitoba and Saskatchewan are dragged into the war, as UN troops and United States troops are moved along the northern border.
    July 18, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the Philippines, other south Pacific nations joined together to create the South Pacific Victory Trading Federation. This group has created a trade union and bargaining block with a unified currency in an effort to compete with the EU, America's, and Chinese.
    August 8, UN troops from Nairobi and Saudi Arabia are blocked at Saskatchewan border.

2023

  • January 3, During a severe blizzard a pitched battle happens on the northern border between Militia's and UN troops, leaving 110 dead from combat, and another 115 frozen in the storm. Casualties are mostly UN troops, though a few are American resistance fighters.
    February 15, Congress votes on how to handle the Western Alliance, decides leaders will be tried for treason, troops given parole.
    March 8, Several cases of Conspicuous Consumption happen in Boston, leaving many to wonder if a new zombie plague is gripping the city.
    March 22, The Mayor of Boston declares the zombie concern a non-issue, explaining it is a new Bath Salt type drug called "Amazing" that has been banned.
    May 5, Blackouts happen all across the Eastern states, as major power grids are hit and knocked out. Food riots happen in several cities (New York, Chicago, Pittsburg) because of transportation disruptions.
    May 18, EMP blast occurs 28 miles over the Western Alliance. Massive power grid and electrical disruption occurs.
    June 12, Drones attack into the Western Alliance, but are met by an equal army of drones, minor losses to both sides.
    July 4, The block of states east of the Mississippi name themselves the Federated American States. Civil war sets is now fought in earnest, territory being the goal.

2024

  • January 5, the FAS performs coordinated strikes across the Mississippi river and into the WA. The FAS establishes a foothold in St. Louis and begins pushing WA troops back. Battles run for days, with ground taken and lost.
    January 19, A major winter storm pummels the plains. Lack of electricity and heat kills hundreds in the cold. Scattered islands of energy are coming back on line in both the WA and the FAS, but repairs are slow, hampered by combat.
    January 25, WA troops push FAS teams back across the Mississippi, a staggering loss for the FAS.
    February 2, Presidential elections start in the FAS. There are loud calls for the removal of the sitting president.
    Martin Powell from Kentucky is elected to his first term as President, Annalee Mitchell from New York as Vice President.
    The Inner Circle meets in Barcelona.  Debate ensues as to admitting the Giovanni to the Inner Circle.  
    The Gangrel cede their seat, informing the Inner Circle that all further alliance goes to the League of the Night, as they are
    protecting non-Sabbat Kindred interests.  Debate on admitting the Giovanni is tabled.

2025

  • The Federated States blockade San Francisco harbor, there is a pitched battle in the Pacific.
    Canada closes the border between itself and the U.S. at the insistence of the Federation, though enforcement is only half-hearted.
    The Western Alliance makes a solid run into Tennessee, and north into Mississippi. The Texan forces push Federated troops out of Louisiana. Mexico aids the Western Alliance to break the Federation blockade at New Orleans.
    Mexico aligns itself with Texas and the Western Alliance in a bid to keep the oil pipelines north open.
    December: The United States Military uses Zetroxin on the western bank of the Mississippi in an attempt to gain a foothold in the rebel ground. The effects are catastrophic, with high mortality rates. The drug exhibits an unknown side effect of creating a high number of survivors with psychotic breaks, leading to a wave of carnage in the landing troops.

2026

  • The Battle of Wichita happens, with a decisive defeat of the Federated States by the Western Alliance. There are many scattered battles around the West.
    The United States Union army releases the gas Zetroxin in Eastern Louisiana attempting to take New Orleans without having to send troops into the swamps. Fatalities north of Lake Pontchartrain are in the 60% mark initially, with psychotic breaks resulting in 75% of those exposed who did not initially die. The land north of Lake Pontchartrain and east of I-10 becomes a wasteland of wandering killers. Mexico and the WAIS petition the United Nations to ban the use of Zetroxin.

2027

  • Treaty of New Orleans - The treaty is signed in New Orleans which is designated a neutral zone between the two new nations and the Mississippi River serves as a designated border between the Federated American States and the Western Alliance. The war ends.
    The Republic of Texas withdraws from the Western Alliance to declare Independence. Texas establishes a cordon of Non-Aggression with the Federated States and the Western Alliance. Initially Louisiana sets itself up as a Free State, but the FAS and WAIS nearly erupt in new fighting over who will control the port of New Orleans and annex the Free State. In a bid to push away both large suitors, Louisiana asks to become a territory of Texas, while maintaining its own dominion. Texas agrees. The Army of Texas closes the border of Louisiana, with the help of the Louisiana Guard.
    Initially, all three nations establish themselves as heirs to the old U.S.A. and its constitutional republic, but within decades they each diverge radically to form new governments.

2028

  • FAS government passes sweeping gun bans.
    United Nations bans the use of Zetroxin
    November elections reveal Annalee Powell as the new President, Theodore Garcia as Vice President
    March 18, Black Lives Matter strike teams hit the police in Atlanta, GA after two black men are shot and killed by police exchanging gunfire with them. 11 police are killed in staged ambushes, the National Guard is called in to put down violence.
    May 6, The rapidly growing city of East St. Louis is the site of a pitched battle, ostensibly fought between FAS troops and WAS infiltrators. WAS graffiti blamed FAS troops for war crimes during the civil war. Border troops are put on alert and beefed up.
    July 19, Shiloh IL FAS Enemies camp is emptied, FAS and WAIS exchange political prisoners. A light garrison remains at the camp.

2029

  • April 25, FAS moves troops into outer Chicago to put down gang violence and uprisings.
    June 05, 18 FAS troops are killed following "radicals" into a sewer system in Boston. 4 WAS radicals are apprehended and charged with their murder.

2030

  • January 30, FAS President Powell signs the MILE Act into law, creating military law enforcement divisions.
    August 25, The Republic of Texas annexes Mexico.
    Manuel Koch elected Governor of the Republic of Texas in November 2030.
  • 2032: FAS elects Samantha Kennedy, defeating Powell in a tightly contested race.


  • 2037:
    Inner Circle meets in Atlanta.  The Giovanni withdraw their request to join the 
    Camarilla.  The Assamites Schizmatics petition to join the Camarilla.  The Council votes to allow them to
    join, with the Ventrue and Toreador dissenting.

2040

  • Muslim EU citizens petition for Sharia law to be considered equal with EU law. Violence breaks out in all the major European cities other than those in France. France temporarily closes it's borders for seven days.

German scientists perfect a thorium reactor, creating smaller, cooler power generators. 

    The Tremere create a tentative peace accord with the Giovanni.  Augustus Giovanni and the Council of Seven meet
    and pledge a formal magically binding agreement of partnership to increase the power of Blood Magic.  One of their defined goals
    is to wipe out the Tremere Antitribu.  Select vampires are made aware of the partnership.
  • 2041 With the widespread use of robot labor, unemployment for the poor hits and all time high world wide. 60% of all vehicles in the FAS and Europe are computer driven. Most restaurants utilize electronic order takers. Large sections of the poor begin to actively scrounge and dig out metal from the refuse piles of the past for sale. Older tech is prized for the copper/silver components.

Briscoe Gosselin makes a breakthrough discovery in gravitational manipulation. 

    100 vampires are found as pillars of ash under Shevulich volcano in western Russia.
  • 2044 The first reliable "hover cars" are introduced. Riding .5 meters off the ground, they are completely smooth and capable of up to 600 kph with the propulsion engines they are manufactured with. Onboard overrides are installed to hold the speed below 220 kph. Water is no obstacle, and hover cars begin using the rivers for major highways.
  • April 10, An EMP is detonated over the southwest destroying the power grid for the southwestern WAIS. Arizona, Southern Colorado, Eastern (east of the Sierra Nevadas) California, New Mexico, and the Native Nations districts are effected. the Capital city of Denver is spared due to efforts to protect the power grid already happening there. Denvers population doubles in a matter of a few months. The event is blamed on a drug cartel. It takes more than a year to get the power grid back up consistently. 900,000 people die of dysentery, lack of food and refrigeration. There is a mass migration north to power.
  • 2045
    With the rising attacks of Sabbat packs in North America the League of the Night calls for a conscription
    of soldiers to mount an attack on Montreal.  This is not an attack to "take the City", but a cleansing of the number of Sabbat.
    League cities are called to send their best Knights and Soldiers.  Known havens are raided.  The death toll to the Sword of Caine
    is high.
  • 2046 Using lasers and satellite guidance tech, London builds the worlds first above the city highway for hover cars to relieve congestion. The 100 as it is called because of it's height in kilometers above the tallest building in London is revolutionary. Three months afterwards Japan brings it's own 100 online.
    2047 Japan builds a superhighway from Tokyo to San Francisco. The Kume Kaisha introduce heavy hauler hover vehicles for the movement of goods.
    Matashima Kaisha creates localized gravitational weapons. Using discs the Kaisha created a "grenade" that creates a 4G atmosphere in a 15' radius. Humans are crushed to the earth, unable to move, while not being harmed. Police and military units begin using them for crowd control.
  • The Texas Army shoots down hover vehicles crossing the Louisiana border heading towards New Orleans. The FAS denies knowledge of their existence.
  • 2048 A guided highway is created from the UK to the mainland. Distance cars are built,with a thorium fuel system, capable of staying in constant operation for a 10 year cycle.

2050

  • A guided highway is built between Europe and the FAS.
