History: An expatriate and world traveler from Estonia. Hendrik served ten years in the Estonian military following the breakup of the USSR, then took his paltry pension and traveled the world. He became adept at stretching his resources and finding safe, out-of-the-way places to stay. He now employs these skills as the leader of Brian's "Advance Team." Whenever Brian deigns to give his people advance notice of a visit, Hendrik's team leaves immediately to set up bolt-holes and arms caches, and get the lay of the land. When not on the move, he and his team are often responsible for acquiring necessary equipment and running other potentially dangerous errands.

Recent Events: With the recent attack on Lord Brian, Hendrik was immediately assigned to establish bolt-holes in Leeds and then when a residence was required he was provided with intelligence on a mansion belonging to a former vampire in Leed's southern district of Morley. His team approached under cover of darkness, and found the house quiet and dark. Over the years, Hendrik had learned to listen to the "little voice" that told him when things weren't what they appeared. So his team waited until dawn and entered the mansion complex to find all the highly armed private security dead at their posts or in their beds exsanguinated. There was no sign of struggle or of an alarm being raised. The situation left Hendrik with two totally different feelings on the matter. The first was a deep sense of horror, for something that could bypass all the first rate security around the mansion would slip past any security measures his people could install and the second was a profound sense of relief that he wouldn't have to risk any of his people in removing the emplaced security forces or devices. He quickly ordered his men to gather all the bodies, searched them for identification and had the bodies moved to a large walk-in refrigeration room to await the Lord's orders on their disposal. Unfortunately, onsite surveillance had been physically ripped from their housings leaving little to analyze in the wake of the attack. Within hours of his team's arrival, they had installed new security and surveillance equipment and prepared the property for Lord Brian's arrival.
