Haunted House
This ritual enchants a house to cause mortals to avoid it. It creates a low-level sense of nervousness and fear, so that mortals believe the house is "haunted" and should be avoided. Even mortals who firmly disbelieve in such things will be disturbed by the place and not wish to approach it.
The ritual takes three hours, and costs the caster three blood points. The house will remain "haunted" for about 10 years, at which point mortals' impressions will shift from "haunted" to "run down" or "wierd." Effecting major repairs or renovations on the house will negate the effect.
The Tremere have officially forbidden the use of this ritual as a potential violation of the Masquerade, but a few die-hard privacy nuts still use it.
