Pack: Girard came with his pack to Denver in the winter of 1996. A pack was assigned to draw out the Prince of the City, so that pack, the Golden Lions made a strike on Edward’s west Denver mansion.
Notes: Girard was one of my (Bruce’s) diableries in both the first and second iterations; he was in fact, my third diablerie for generation, the first two were the Earl (Ventrue 12th generation, one of Edward’s enforcers) and the Count (Brujah 11th, another of Edward’s enforcers). As one of my Soul-Mates / diablerie victims, Girard will have had some future knowledge and would have been best protected against the trap that lead to his diablerie; unfortunately, he will also have some instinctive sense of my identity, though a very murky one as temporal eddies will leave few details as the diablerie never actually happened. Unfortunately, destiny guarantees that we will come into some kind of contact at some point.
Obviously, Girard as the pack leader who was assigned the difficult duty of drawing out a thousand year old prince would be a likely candidate for the new Archbishop of Denver and that is how it turned out. His pack likely took some losses from Edward and his defenders; Duke, Edward’s favorite enforcer and his 8th generation childe was killed and diablerized by someone in the Fleur-de-lese pack. Jamie last saw Edward in his west Denver mansion before its security was breached and the house was set ablaze.
I haven’t detailed any of Girard’s statistics because he was always a diablerie victim; however it is likely that as a true elder he has extensive attributes, abilities and disciplines. I surmise that the only way I could have bested him, was with the secret help of Ugo who probably arranged Girard’s defeat and diablerie.
