Sobriquet: The Maven
Appearance: Filiberto Toselli is neither the most attractive, nor best dressed man or Cainite in Rome. But, he isn't a Nosferatu either. From his appearance, Filiberto was in his late twenties when he was Embraced and still very much in the prime of his life. Descending from Phoenician bloodlines his skin was naturally quite swarthy, as even now, centuries after his Embrace he is still quite dark. Filiberto's eyes are like two finely polished examples of petrified wood, dark brown with hints of saffron, amber and gold, so beautiful and like the stones they resemble, cold.
Normally, Toselli's thick black hair hangs as long as a womans, and his servants spend the start of every evening preparing his dark mane in the latest styles. Filiberto never wears the latest fashions or the most expensive, those things are for his clients, as their agent of choice he never wishes to give offense or seem to be in competition with his betters. Instead he wears mostly black to better blend into the shadows and because against black cloth, spilled blood never shows.
Toselli is quite fastidious, bathing often and he usually smells of burnt amber and cinnamon. Filiberto is quite hirsute and his facial hair, a close cropped beard and mustache are well kept and oiled. If he has a flaw, it is that he likes fine jewelry, only of the purest gold and best craftsmanship, and in gemstones only those of the brightest and most intense color. Filiberto's most favored piece of jewelry is also his personal sigil, a raven - all of gold - in flight, with a single baleful ruby for its heart.
Behavior: Filiberto Toselli is in a word, agreeable. If his companion to be is important, wealthy, beautiful or just in vogue, then he can agree to almost any request. As an factotum from the practical to the epicurean, Filiberto serves as a procurer extraordinaire and quite often as a agent provocateur. This is not to say that Filiberto is discriminating, as he will take work from both Cainite and Kine, alike. Nor is beauty, wealth or social standing a bar to his service, if the prospective employer meets his price. And that is the real challenge, Filiberto rarely seeks monetary gain, being one of the richest Cainites in Rome, rather he prefers rarities: ancient artworks, long lost books, forgotten lore and one-of-a-kind items. In short, Filiberto Toselli is a collector.
In his personal life, Filiberto enjoys his pleasures as well and in this regard he is quite exacting. Having been immortal for quite some time, he is a connoisseur of all sensations and always seeks some new experience to titillate his rather jaded senses. In his pursuit of pleasure, he knows no limitations and will go to any lengths to find fulfillment and satisfaction. As a host, he can be most generous and it is a well know fact that he throws the most extraordinary gatherings imaginable. Although, one's reputation may well suffer from keeping company with Filiberto Toselli, it may equally be said, that the devil looks after his own.
