Erik Kirby

Sobriquet: Erik
Appearance: Erik is good looking and athletic young man of Norwegian descent. He is five feet, nine inches tall and weights 145 pounds. His blond hair is worn short in an almost military crew cut and his piercing blue eyes seem to take in everything around him. Erik is extremely athletic and has worked hard to reach his level of physical fitness. The night he was abducted by the Sabbat, he was wearing blue and gold team jersey, blue-jeans and running shoes. Like all the kids from Sigourney, he is tan, both from farm work and from time on the athletic field.
Behavior: On the surface, Erik is easy going and charismatic. He has an easy smile and laughs often, but has a distinctly serious side and thinks strategically. He is without doubt an alpha personality, but thinks critically and realistically. Erik is always looking forward, usually several steps ahead of his peers and with the intent of improving his current circumstances.
History: Born in Sigourney at the local health center, Erik grew up working on the farm and attending the school system. The son of a local farmer and his wife, Erik is the eldest child and has four siblings. The boy learned to work hard and look after his various siblings. He excelled at athletic activities and often escaped farm work by proving his worth at in track, wrestling and football. Erik had one driving goal, and that was to escape his home town for a better life in the big city. In high school he kept his grades up and competed on the local debate team as well as making quarterback on the Savages football team. Seen by the young ladies of Sigourney as a prized catch, he dated sporadically and avoided teen romance and potential risks of parenthood. In his senior year he caught the eye of several football recruiters and took the best offer of a full ride at Texas A&M.
Recent Events: Everything was going according to plan, when he was invited to an impromptu weekend party in Chicago. Being abducted and forced to undergo the Sabbat's creation rites destroyed Erik's life plan of getting a degree in physical training and going into pro-football. Despite this horror of the situation, Erik is starting to see the positive possibilities of unlife, and is trying to figure out how to get ahead in the Sabbat while looking after his friends from Sigourney. The strange visions that have begun to plague the Forsaken after the attack on the meth-lab are completely outside Erik's experience and have him very concerned. As his sire has disappeared, he is forced to turn to Tremen Hall as an advisor on how to deal with these visions and what they might mean.
