Dimitri Markov
Sobriquet: Dimitri
Appearance: Dimitri is a man of powerful build and beautiful appearance. While his hair is black, few can see it as he shaves completely (all his body) each night (and not always with a blade...) to purify his body from the influence of the Beast. He has a pale skin, a strong jawline and a wide, rarely smiling mouth. His eyes are black, but he usually activate the Serpentis * power to give him the golden iris and vertical slited pupils of the serpent.
Dimitri learned a lot about martial arts and philosophy, and it strengthened his belief in the Path of the Warrior. Still, he usually wears kimono-like black clothing, with simple black shoes and a black belt. He always wear a steel-like metal kopesh sword.
Behavior: Dimitri rarely speaks, and rarely interests himself to other's whining and little talking. He has too much to do and to think. While he nevers acts superior, he knows he is right, and this alone is enough for him. He needs not to convince other, and will rarely tell them his true feelings to others. Remaining simply calm and emotionless.
History: Dimitri was a self-made, lone warrior selling his sword as a mercenary to the one who would pay him the better. He wandered west of the Caucase mountains, from turkey to austria to Russia. He was once hired for an assassination mission, but he refused as he was a warrior, not a lowly murderer. The Assamite, who had singled him out as one of the better warriors of the time, almost killed him in his rage, but Kauser, a Setite Elder (who happened to be the aim of the assassination) found it ironic to stop the Assamite and fight him in the open. The Assamite was a murderer, and had quite good martial talents, but Kauser was a Setite of the Path of the Warrior, and in the open this did a difference.
Dimitri, in the middle of the fight, was surprised to see such powers, and only when the Assamite fled did he awake from his surprise to see Kauser looking at him. Kauser understood the modivation of the warrior, for he had the same: Martial prowess hidden behind good stealth talent wasn't good martial prowess. So Kauser took Dimitri as his bodyguard and Ghoul, teaching him the Path of the Warrior, and the history of Set, the Warrior God who defended whole divine pantheons against their enemies.
Dimitri learnt a lot from Kauser, and then, the Follower of Set offered him Immortality. The only condition was to kill the Assamite Vampire who had threatened Kauser's security. The Assamite was quite surprised to see Dimitri as this young and naive Vampire. The fight wasn't easy, and the Assamite cheated by using his Obfuscate talent, but this time, Kauser was ready, and threw against him a hook tied to the centar pillar of the Assamite haven.
Trapped, the Assamite tried to break the chains holding the deadly mecanism that prevented him to remove the hook, all the while dodging the young Neonate's attack. But in the end, the Neonate proved to be too bothersome, and the Assamite had to fight him fully.
Was it luck? Or the will of Set Himself?
Dimitri won the fight, and Diablerized the Assamite, as it was asked of him by his Sire. Then, and only then, started his teaching of the Path of the Warrior.
Since then, Dimitri has served his Clan by trying to rival the lesser deeds of his God, Set. As a bodyguard, and as a soldier. And he was always succesfull. The last years, he was sent to Paris to be the bodyguard of Sutekhem, the local Priestess of Set. The rumours about her searching for a Setite Elder appeared to be true, as she showed him her meager findings.
Now, he knows that the awakening of his God is near, and he will help it to happen faster. If he has to help Sutekhem awaken a powerful Setite Elder, then nothing will prevent him...
