Through use of this power, the Cainite can cause his enemies' mounts to rear and bolt, singly or en masse, by the strength of his gaze alone. The player can also elect to bolster the courage and tractability of his allies' steeds, allowing greater control in battle and the ability to manipulate the animals into performing actions or entering places they would normally avoid.
System: The player spends a Willpower point and rolls Manipulation + Animal Ken (difficulty 7). Enemy mounts affected become terrified and nigh uncontrollable. Difficulties of all Rides rolls are increased by 3, and mounted combat becomes impossible. Friendly mounts affected by this power become much more pliant (-2 difficulty on all Ride rolls), and may be coerced to remain calm in situations they would normally avoid.
In modern nights, this power is much less useful, as warriors do not ride horses into battle any more. However, it is possible to buy versions of this power that apply to other species individually.
