Appearance: A beautiful buxom brunette, very sensual. Her eyes are a startling green.
Behavior: Mdm.De Royal likes her pleasure, and is usually drinking, drunk, or high on opiums. She derives insight from the world around her while so altered, and can often be fairly profound. Young (22), she has just begun to discover her way around magic.
History: Christelle was born the daughter of a sea merchant. Her father was a good captain but struggled with his business ventures. Clients stiffed him, ships were damaged, cargo's lost. He worked very hard to provide for his young family. In order to help her father Christelle began doing the books for her father, as she was very good at sums. Her help in the books caught some mistakes and over time his business improved. As the one who received invoices and paid her fathers accounts she met many merchants from around Europe. Christelle had her "coming out" party, and began to be invited to soiree's around the city. At one such party she met Gavek Al Amud, a tall, handsome black man from the Barbary Coast. He introduced her to maelstrathum irathsmus a green and brown psychedelic mushroom from the African continent. Under it's influence they had a raucus party and raw, unihibited sex. In the midst of the experience she realized that she was perceiving time and the people around her on a whole new level. When Gavek realized she had Awakened, he welcomed her to the Cult d'Ecstacy.
Within a month her father was killed in a storm off the coast of Norway, and Christelle wound up taking care of her mother and herself. Realizing she could never stay in the shipping business, with Gavek's help she opened the Captaines du Repos. She uses it for siphoning off tas and keeping her lifestyle in place. Rather than explain it all to her mother, Christelle uses another name, Mdm. De Royal for running the club.
