3 Point Merit {Dark Ages Mage}
Although all mages can create small, cosmetic effects by spending Quintessence, you are skilled enough that you do not need to make that expenditure. As long as you have one point of Quintessence remaining in your body, you may create the effects described on p. 88-89 at will. Sustaining a given effect still requires effort, but much less than for other mages; you may maintain these effects for three turns by spending a single point of Quintessence.
